The Project

Arts&AI (AI & Arts) is a joint project of the Interregió Forum Association and Hargita County Council. The project is made possible by the Erasmus+ Small-scale Partnerships in the field of youth (KA210-YOU) program.

The experts leading the project are creating educational materials for young artists to help them apply new artificial intelligence tools. The aim is to enable applicants to keep pace with the latest developments and innovations, develop their artistic activities, and strengthen cultural ties between partner countries.

Target audience

The main target audience of the project is young people working in the visual creative industries who are able to apply AI in a number of areas in their work (the primary target audience is young people working in the visual creative industries in the fields of cultural heritage and functional areas).

We have the opportunity to involve a total of 30 young people from Hungary and Romania. We hope that among the participants there will be those for whom participation will open up broader opportunities, help them find employment, and show them the way to further development.

Instructors

Hátszegi, Zsolt

Animation artist and musician, head of the Uniqat animation studio, animation teacher at the Vámszer Géza Folk Art School. For 15 years, he has been working with all animation techniques from analog techniques to AI tools, and in addition to advertising animations, he has created animation materials for numerous museum exhibitions.

Mihály, László

Graphic designer and photographer living in Csíkszereda. He has been working in the press for 25 years, as a layout designer and editor for several Transylvanian printed newspapers and magazines, and as a website designer. He worked as a journalist and photojournalist, and today he combines his documentary approach with creativity and the use of artificial intelligence imaging technologies to create visual content for various communication platforms.

Creative Camp

The Program: 4 modules + 1 week creative camp

Methodological guide

The purpose of the Methodology Handbook is to summarise the experience gained during the implementation of the project and to support the further adaptation of the training methodology. The handbook provides detailed guidance for all those – educators, institutions and creators – who wish to apply the innovative teaching material and training model created at the intersection of artificial intelligence and moving image art in their own educational practice. You can access the contents of the handbook in your preferred language by clicking on the images below.
