Everyday class picture: The teacher explains, students are mobile with their backs bent under the bench. Tensions are rising, conflict is palpable. Recognizing the uselessness of the ban, education researchers are urging a change in teacher attitudes and the use of mobile devices. Yes, in the classroom too!

The Tanlet , a recently launched pedagogical application for this type of education that promotes individual progress, is also being launched thanks to the “ We Help Learning ” grant. The Southern Great Plain Regional Social Science Research Association (abbreviated as DARTKE), which developed the idea and the Tanlet school curriculum, started testing the method with the involvement of cooperating partners in October.

Of course, with the help of IT programs supporting education, the Danube can be blocked, but most of them can be used to color the lessons. The special feature of Tanlet is that it works at the classroom level so that the teacher’s mobile device is part of the process in a kind of direction and control, while allowing students to move through the material at an individual pace and depth. The program does not impose any additional administrative burden on the teacher, the system immediately evaluates the student’s answers, there is no need to improve the tests separately, as the totality of the data is visible. The developers also presented the application at the BETTShow in London, where they received positive international feedback due to the uniqueness of the method.

The program developed for the mobile device is not related to certain subjects or parts of the curriculum but can be flexibly adapted in terms of content due to its competence development properties. Developer researchers, educators, and children. The students invented the figures and the playfulness was tailored to them, looking forward to the next Tanletes development lesson. The sample tasks were prepared together with the teachers during the development and test period. The program offers novelty to students compared to school habits, and the possibility of differentiation and special control of management gives freshness to teachers.

The program was first launched in October with the involvement of the New Chance Public Benefit Association in Magyarbój (Baranya county). According to the report of Erzsébet Kiss, the professional leader, the teacher’s reception of the initiative is positive. Educators have realized that novelty will make their lessons more attractive to children, less time will need to be devoted to discipline, you can see who is stuck where, so help can be provided directly. The method is being introduced with the participation of 120 students, and the results and development are being continuously examined and tested by researchers from the Association of Catholic Students and Colleges.

Developers recommend using the Tanlet app for ages 8-14 primarily in group sessions (daycare, classroom, course summary, pre-break maintenance) under the guidance of a teacher. A minimum of 20 minutes should be spent on each task package. Tanlet is not a substitute for curriculum, but for the development of core competencies. Playful tasks that develop comprehension, problem-solving ability, logic, and cooperation skills follow one another.

The Tanlet app is designed for mobile phones and tablets, can be downloaded for free from the Google Play store and the App store, and educators can sign up for more content at www.tanlet.hu .

The implementation of the program is made possible by the EFOP co-financed by the European Union.
