On February 3, the first teaching material, which focused on storytelling, became available to participants.

The first workshop took place online on February 7. After a brief introduction, participants discussed the function and structure of stories/films and the nature of the conflicts that form the basis of stories, under the guidance of László Mihály and Zsolt Hátszegi. In the second half of the workshop, each participant wrote a prompt for a jointly devised character and scene outline into ChatGPT and received a synopsis (some received a specific screenplay). It was interesting to compare how many different storylines artificial intelligence could create from the same starting point (a pink-haired, 80-year-old woman in a leather motorcycle jacket smashes a classic coffee cup on the floor in a gothic-style café).

As homework, participants must prepare a short motion picture concept or scene script by the end of next week, which can be based on a generated series of images and its motion picture processing. We look forward to seeing your ideas!
