15/0100-KA2SE / 13634
Project Period: November 2015 – October 2017
The primary goal of the M’INSPIRE project under the ERASMUS + Program is to consolidate the basic skills and competences of lower-level primary school pupils in different countries living in different countries. at the same time, provide motivation (by learning about the use of digital tools) on the one hand for school learning, on the other hand for further learning, for getting to know the modern world, for integration. The project aims to develop and consolidate basic skills by developing innovative digital curricula on tablets, supplementing them with drama pedagogical tools and testing them in a teaching situation.
The Lead Partner of the project is the Interregion Forum Association, which primarily defines and maintains the framework of the project and the development of digital content. Trial teaching takes place in the schools involved in the Partners – New Chance Association (Hungary), Bástya Association (Romania), Forum Association (Slovakia) – and the pedagogues involved in them develop the pedagogical content.
Project activities:
Create an agreed curriculum structure
The curriculum structure and development directions document sets out the target system, areas and methodological guidelines of the curriculum to be developed. This is when the basic graphics, the framework design, and the basics of the application are defined.
Test version of M’Inspire Beta
Create a test version of 30 hours of digital curriculum content by developing the associated application and framework, procuring cooperative curriculum engines, compiling curriculum tasks, and incorporating related drama pedagogical elements.
Testing M’Inspire Beta in 3 countries, in 3 locations, with 30 hours of pilot training each.
Conducting a 30-hour trial in a school in Hungary, one in Slovakia and one in Romania, involving 20-20 4th grade schoolchildren by completing a course running on tablets. The test report summarizes the teaching and system functional experiences as well as the results of the competency measurements performed at the beginning and end of the teaching block.
Development of a digital curriculum package running on M’Inspire 1.0 final tablet, incorporating the experience of pilot pieces of training, creating language versions (Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, English).
Preparation of the M’Inspire methodological manual for teachers for the curriculum, in Hungarian, Romanian, Slovak, English.
The results achieved and the M’Inspire 1.0 curriculum will be presented at an international conference, complemented by a min. Seminars for educational and other relevant organizations with 40 -40 participants. The contents will be available on the website of the Interregional Forum Association, and we will arouse interest in our project and its results through regular newsletters.
As a result of the project, in addition to the specific M’Inspire 1.0 digital curriculum package and the related methodological manual, we expect to create a methodological tool for educators that can be used in any European country and can motivate lower grades with learning difficulties to learn. disadvantaged students and to develop the competencies needed to move on to higher education.
